허가받은걸로 알고있어요. 내용까지는 해외사이트라 모르겠네요

허가 받았어요. 정식 라이센스 받아서 하는거에요.
괜히 4년 동안 탈없이 운영되는게 아니죠~

라이센스 없을겁니다.
닌텐도가 라이센스 관리 엄청 빡시게 하는 회사이기도 하고
애초에 팬메이드를 묵인도 아니고 대가도 없이 정식으로 라이센스를 내주는 회사가 비정상이겠죠...
라이센스 도둑질해서 만들다가 돈 좀 벌면 돈싸들고 와서 라이센스 계약하는 경우는 있지만요.(뮤 오리진이라던가...)
다만 다른 게임들 처럼 철퇴 안맞는 것은 pokemmo는 모드이기 때문일겁니다. pokemmo는 하기 위해 롬이 필요하죠.
네 pokemmo는 롬을 수정하고 mmo 환경을 구현해주는거지 닌텐도의 저작권을 침해하지 않는 것입니다.
기적의 논리가 완성!!! 이렇게 알고 있습니다.

You may not charge any fee or receive compensation attributable to the PokeMMO Game Client.

이건 자기들이 만든 pokemmo 클라이언트에 대한 라이센스를 주장하는 내용으로 밖에 안보입니다.

포켓몬 라이센스를 보유한 게임프리크와 모회사인 닌텐도에 대한 언급은 하나도 없고요.

게다가 최근 닌텐도의 행보를 보면 9년간 만들었다고 언론에서 떠들어댔던 포켓몬 우라늄을 포함해

닌텐도 라이센스를 사용한 수백개의 펜메이드 게임의 배포를 막았습니다.

이런 경영 방침을 무시하고 굳이 pokemmo만 라이센스 사용을 허가해주진 않겠죠.

상술했듯이 pokemmo 클라이언트가 포켓몬에 대한 정보를 담지 않은(=저작권을 대놓고 침해하지 않는)

mod의 일종이어서 살아남지 않았나 합니다. 이 것도 법적으로 하나하나 따지면 걸릴지 잘 모르겠지만요. ;)
